A book update

July 18, 2006

I’ve got around 4000 of the 8000 words done, and the rest should be finished by the middle of August. Once they are written, then it’s over to the editor and publisher for the final processing. I have no idea how long that will take, but I would not be surprised if it were anything but a slow process. Things seem to take a long time in the publishing world. Anyway, I’m still excited at the prospect so I can be a little more patient.

MUCH LUCK! I have written a chemistry textbook, that is essentially designed for local (NY STATE) use. But with a syllabus to guide me, and plenty of other texts as references, it was not nearly as difficult a job as yours!
