Today is the 180th birthday of John Venn, the Englishman who invented the Venn diagram. Today’s Google Doodle celebrates this fact.

This led me to this little piece in The Guardian – a nice read!

So, OK, all well and good, but what does that have to do with chemistry? Well actually, nothing per se, but I was reminded of this Venn diagram that I saw last year. Is it accurate? I didn’t check!
